Groups are led by Dr. Delores Gulledge (Dr. Dee)

Delores D. Gulledge’s specialty is working with individuals who grieve. She has worked with people faced with life-changing loss and life transitions for more than 30 years. Experienced as an educator and crisis response trainer she listens to people tell their stories of crisis, trauma, and loss. She advocates for intervention and story-telling using expressive art forms. Her philosophy and practice include using the Arts As Medicine.

Dr. Gulledge has been associated with the Richland County Coroner-Medical Examiner’s Office in South Carolina for 20 plus years as a volunteer and deputy coroner to coordinate the nationally acclaimed C.A.R.E. Team. She was a Staff Crisis Intervention trainer with the National Organization of Victim Assistance (NOVA) and she volunteered as the Crisis Intervention Chaplaincy Coordinator of the South Carolina Baptist Disaster Relief (SCBDR)

Dr. Gulledge served on the Leadership Council of the Cancer Prevention and Control Program of the University of South Carolina and the Brain Tumor Advisory Board of Duke University Medical Center. Additionally, she served on the Board of Visitors at Columbia College and is an active member of Riverland Hills Baptist Church.

Dr. Gulledge is co-founder of The Other Side Ministries, Inc., a 501(c) 3 non-profit that supports outreach, workshops, seminars, retreats, scholarships related to education, grief intervention, and relationship enhancement.
